A Bronze Plate (Kasa ni Thali) served on all days, both for Lunch and Dinner, typically consists of an appetizing drink of fresh buttermilk, two varieties of hors d'oeuvres (Farsan), three vegetables, one pulse preparation (Kathol), three varieties of hot-from-the-griddle Indian bread (Thepla, Poori, Phulka), a mildly-sweet Gujarati style tuvar daal and Punjabi style mungdal, a mild spicy-sweet gravy in a yogurt base (Gujarati Kadhi) and mild spicy-sour Punjabi kadhi, Rice, a nutritious mixture of rice and pulsed (Khichdi), and in dinner the specialty is Crispy Biscuit Bhakri, all to the accompaniments of Salad / Raita / Chutney / Pickle / Papad - and a sweet of the day. The sweet tooth has more choice from the sweet platter offered from fruit salad custard, shrikhand, basundi, mungdal sheera and many more.
Sundays and festivals like Dashera are celebrated with a special service of Fafda and Jalebi, Uttrayan is celeberated with Matla Undhiyu.
